The artist was raised in rural Victoria, Australia and has a strong connection with nature. Natural landscapes and nature inspire much of his work, such as the mystery and unpredictability of Thunder Eggs that he found as a child. The ambiguity of each piece provokes its own personal meaning for its audience.
